The FL2iGov beta social network is enabled by the Florida 2.0 Initiative (FL2i) to provide social media tools to the Florida State Government community and the Florida constituency for Innovative Government. The objective of this Web 2.0 tool is to discuss, compile and assess information required to understand the appropriate use of social media in Government, discuss the main barriers that are delaying its use and promote its adoption. This site can also be used in the future to follow up on the progress of stimulus funding and social applications involved with Innovation Government in areas such as Transparency 2.0 and e-Government 2.0.
